And there it was. The posting from PAE requesting photos for the 2019 Nordhavn Calendar along with the deadline. Ugh! Our trip north was planned late this year. Not much time to get some good shots in great spots! So we were on a mission – get north and find some awesome anchorages. This meant every time we left the boat we tried to tick off the to do items… Close the back doors, make sure the crane is in a good spot, etc. And then take photos! And did we. This usually involved taking photos as we headed to shore or out exploring. And another round of photos on the return. Typically we’d do a semi-circle around the boat taking a dozen (or more) photos trying to capture Red Rover in good lighting and an interesting background. So we quickly had hundreds of photos to review. About forty made the first cut. Many were easy to pitch. Wrong lighting, some blurriness or just not “calendar worthy”. Then we went thru them again and we were down to 25. After two more rounds we decided on 15 photos to submit. And those 15 are below.
Please let us know which is your favorite!

My order – 12, 10, 15. All are wonderful. Nice work.
Thank you!
All excellent but my choices would be 2, 15 and 12 – in that order. This is what cruising is all about.
Thanks Steve for your votes! 🙂
15, 14, 12 for me
Duly noted Tod!
I liked the one with Red Rover on Zoe’s nose! It made me smile.
Colin – Alison loved that one too!
What makes the photos amazing? – you were there , while I have been chained to my desk dreaming
Ray – If it makes you feel any better, I am commenting back from my office desk myself…. Dreaming about taking Red Rover back out!
You can fill the calendar alone…..:-) 🙂 🙂
My order:
2;4;8;10;12;14;15
Cheers
Thomas

Hi a long shot here, when you were working on the console in the Pilot House and used a laminate sheet, were you able to fine the color code of the grey, in Uk we call it the RAL code. Basically my friend is doing the same to his 55 which is a 39 Model and has challenged me to find the RAL code.
Many thanks
Eddie
Hi Eddie – we changed from the stock grey to a matte black color for the laminate, so unable to assist with the color code. I bet if you called PAE in Dana Point (or emailed them), they could tell you. Also, if you are part of the Nordhavn Owners Group, post a question there. I am sure it has been answered somewhere before!
#15! All beautiful but that is my favourite.
